The word propaganda by itself is neither bad nor good; It takes associations like freedom, integrity, conflict and adversity are an integral part of propagandized communication strategies. It’s a type of communication that makes a case for the accomplishment of a goal and, in extreme instances, bypassing reason.

The function of propaganda is….not to make an objective study of the truth…and then set if before the masses with academic fairness. It’s sole purpose is the manipulation of individuals into adopting certain ideas and behaviors through convincing them that the idea or action they adopted was one they have chosen through their own personal volition.

Political Propaganda is one that is used by a Government, State or Political Party for the purpose of altering the ideas and behavior of individuals in order achieve certain political or economic end.

That said; 2013; the Smith Munot Act Modernization Act legalized the United States to propagandize it’s citizens. Buried in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act because it repealed the Smith Mumot Act of 1948 which authorized State Department and the Mainstream Media to engage in propagandizing foreign countries but prohibited release of that same propaganda in America.
